WHO IS NATURAL DOLL?
Natural Doll is an Australian owned and operated company that produces 100% natural mineral makeup that is not
tested on animals or contains any animal by-product. The range was developed by makeup artist Kylie Fenelon as a
result of her own skins intolerance to many conventional makeup ranges.
After exhaustive research she founded Natural Doll.
SO WHAT IS MINERAL MAKEUP?
Minerals are derived for the earth we live on, purified, then pulped into silk like powders consisting of mica, zinc oxide,
titanium dioxide, and iron oxides. By nature these minerals scatter light, so they are deflected from the skin, hiding
imperfections and leaving your complexion looking radiant. Mother Nature really has created a wonderful and varied
colour palette for us to source some of the most exquisite hues that rival any synthetic dyes.
So you don’t have to compromise on colour or finish to be kind to your skin!
IS ALL MINERAL MAKEUP THE SAME?
No. True mineral makeup is made up entirely from minerals. Some companies use minerals as natural pigments
along side synthetic dyes, cheap fillers and known skin irritants. So just because it is a “mineral makeup” doesn’t
mean it is an all natural product thus relinquishing all hypoallergenic claims. Natural Doll is a 100% natural mineral
makeup range that does not contain kaolin (which has a drying effect on the skin), bismuth oxychloride (known to
irritate sensitive or inflamed skin), talc (a cheap filler that in it’s raw form is contaminated with asbestos before
supposedly purified), paraben preservatives (which have been reported to accumulate in the body with toxic side
effects), carmine (which is an animal by product) or micronised titanium dioxide (which has been reported to
penetrate the skin with toxic side affects).
If you read the ingredient labels of some well known mineral ranges you will be surprised what they contain!
ARE THE POWDERS MESSY AND HARD TO USE?
No. With correct technique mineral makeup is just as easy to use as regular pressed powders and liquids. In
fact the ingenuis puff jar that all Natural Doll foundations come in, is the easiest way to a flawless finish without
any messy hands. As the pigments are so rich in colour, a little goes a long way! Also due to the very fine silk
like nature of these powders, they are actually easier to blend creating a more professional look..
